Instructions
1: Preheat the oven to 350°F. 2: Melt 1/2 stick of butter and pour it into a baking pan. 3: Sprinkle 1 cup of brown sugar over the melted butter. 4: Arrange the sliced pineapples and cherries on top of the brown sugar layer. 5: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. 6: In another bowl, beat together 1 stick of softened butter and 1 cup of sugar until creamy. 7: Add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of pineapple juice, 1/2 cup of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture. 8: Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. 9: Pour the batter over the pineapple and cherries in the baking pan. 10: Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.View original recipe
