What you need

tbsp milk

tsp baking powder

tsp salt

cup sugar

tsp baking soda

tsp vanilla extract
cup ap flour

cup powdered sugar

Instructions
In a separate bowl, combine the AP flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a mixing bowl, whip the softened butter and sugar together for 10 minutes until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, whipping until each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract. Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk to the wet ingredients, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Pour the batter into a prepared pound cake pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 35-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. For the icing, whisk together 3-4 tablespoons of milk or heavy cream with 2 cups of powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled pound cake.View original recipe
